Lamine Yamal, highest goal scorer, now beats Messi and Mbappé

Lamine Yamal breaks yet another record, clearly setting the bar ever higher in Barcelona 110-year history before turning 19 years.

Right now he is the highest scorer under 19 in Europe’s top five leagues, and with his latest goal against Mallorca at Spotify Camp Nou the teen has put the world on notice. It’s the 24th goals inside his bag which now see Lamine Yamal tops Kylian Mbappé, who had scored 23 for AS Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain before turning 19 on 23 December 2017.

Yamal is a special kind of a player. His foresight, pace and speed to beat defenders have enthroned him as the world’s top providers of assists. And you’ll have something really phenomenonal if you add a goal mix to that.

Lamine Yamal had first toppled Wayne Rooney, Valeri Bozhinov and Barça’s own Ansu Fati before he beat Mbappé.

In Laliga, he is the fastest gun, decidedly ahead of Ansu Fati and other names like Bojan Krkić and Lionel Messi.

Yamal has scored five goals in five consecutive matches this season against clubs such as Mallorca, Albacete Balompié, Elche CF, FC Copenhagen, Real Oviedo and others. At a total of 15 goals already, Lamine Yamal is likely to surpass his 18 he scored during last campaign.
