Why Qatar vs Sudan match was cancelled

The scheduled Qatar vs Sudan friendly match was cancelled. The two national teams were due to clash at Khalifa International Stadium in Doha, Qatar at 4:30pm.

When the Qatar Football Association announced on Thursday that it would play against Sudan, it added the game was part of its preparation for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
