Aninri Undergraduates/Post Graduates Gain Scholarship; Aninri House Member Significantly Acknowledged

In a landmark move for education in Aninri, Hon. Magnus Nnaemeka Ede has once again reaffirmed his commitment to the development of Aninri youths.

For years, his work has centered not only on business support and empowerment programs, but now also on expanding access to academic opportunities through scholarships.

Today, the impact is clear. Over above 25 undergraduates and Post-graduates holders from Aninri Local Government Area are celebrating after successfully securing scholarships. Hon. Ede played a direct role in attracting the scheme to the constituency and ensuring that Aninri had the highest number of beneficiaries.

Speaking to the media, Hon. Ede described the moment as historic and deeply fulfilling.

“I am overwhelmed. This is the first time in history that we have this number of Aninri students benefiting from one scholarship scheme at the same time. Our representation will not relent. We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that Ndi Aninri get their fair share of what government provides.”

He, alongside the good people of Aninri, also extended profound appreciation to the Executive Governor of Enugu State Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for making this possible. He noted that the Governor’s intervention led to a 150% tuation fee increase in the scholarship slots, making the opportunity more inclusive and impactful for our people and to Ndi Enugu at Large.

“We sincerely thank His Excellency, the smart and efficient Governor for remembering Ndi Aninri with such a gracious number. This gesture will go a long way in supporting our students and strengthening education in our constituency.”

One of the beneficiaries shared a story many students know too well.

“I have heard about this scholarship before and applied several times. Often, we felt such opportunities never got to the right people. But Hon. Ede has proven that it can be different. He is a leader who delivers. We are grateful, and we look forward to more of this.”

Another student added with emotion:

“If not for people like Hon. Magnus Nnaemeka Ede, I would never have imagined getting this opportunity. I pray for more integration and for more students to benefit from the state.”

In a brief address, the member representing Aninri State Constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly congratulated the beneficiaries and urged other applicants to follow up and claim their awards. He also advised all youths not to ignore such public announcements, as genuine opportunities do come.

This development underscores Hon. Ede’s steady push to ensure that education, alongside empowerment, remains a priority for Aninri youths.
