The Enugu State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon. Dr. Martins Chukwunwike, has commended the Peter Mbah Continuity Group (PMCG) for the successful inauguration of its executives.
Dr. Chukwunwike gave the commendation on Monday when the PMCG State Executive Committee, led by its Convener and Global Coordinator, Asst. Prof. Dr. Martilord Ifeanyichi (MBBS, PhD), paid him a courtesy visit at the APC Secretariat, Enugu.

The visit was to brief the Chairman on the inauguration of PMCG’s State, 3 Zonal, 17 LGA, and 260 Ward Executive Committees held at the International Conference Centre, ICC, Enugu, on September 9, 2026.
The APC Chairman described the inauguration as colourful, well-organised, and a welcome strategic boost to the APC family in Enugu State and beyond.
He said the emergence of PMCG as a fully activated support group would strengthen the party’s grassroots mobilisation network and improve engagement with citizens ahead of upcoming elections.
Dr. Chukwunwike charged PMCG leaders and members to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to the party’s core values of good governance, unity, service, and continuity.
He further urged the Group to deploy its wide structure to deepen voter education, grassroots engagement, political awareness, and sustained support for progressive governance at both federal and state levels.
The State Chairman assured PMCG of the full support and cooperation of the Enugu State APC structure as it begins mobilisation across the 260 wards of the state.
In his response, Dr. Martilord thanked Dr. Chukwunwike for his general open-door leadership and for his special support for PMCG.
He assured the Chairman that PMCG would leverage Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s achievements in the last three and a half years to mobilise communities to vote massively for Governor Mbah and all APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.
The high point of the visit was the presentation of PMCG branded T-shirts, caps, and an almanac documenting Governor Mbah’s key achievements to the Chairman. The almanac, according to PMCG, is designed as a tool for grassroots sensitisation and mobilisation.
As part of the visit, PMCG was also presented with its official Certificate of Registration as a recognised support group of the Enugu State APC.
With the certification, PMCG is now formally recognised as an approved support structure of the APC in Enugu State, positioned to drive grassroots mobilisation, good governance, and continuity within the broader APC framework.
