As the All Progressives Congress (APC) continues to conquer zones after zones in Enugu State, another strategic community has declared bloc votes for the party’s candidates. From the hilly terrains of Awgu and Agbaja through the swift plains of Nkanu to the swamps of Nsukka clans, APC is surely taking roots much more quickly than political analysts earlier projected.

The people of Ikem community in Isi Uzo local government area has declared total support for APC, vowing to deliver bloc votes in the coming council elections and in the general elections next year.
Speaking when the campaign trail stopped at Ikem Uno ward 1, the APC chairman of Isi Uzo, Dr Dave Nnamani, said that his people could “see and believe” the giant strides of Governor Peter Mbah especially in the aspect of infrastructural development in the area. After him, other critical stakeholders took turns to speak, affirming their loyalties to the governor and, of course, to the entire APC structures.
Also present at the event were Chief Brendan Ani, the chairmanship candidate for Isi Uzo; the APC candidate for House of Assembly for Isi Uzo State Constituency, Hon. Augustine Nnamani, and the APC candidate for the Federal House of representatives for Isi Uzo/Enugu East federal constituency, Hon. Chijioke Edeoga.
APC has been carrying out massive campaigns all across the 17 local government areas in the state in preparation of the 2026 Local Government elections scheduled on September 26th.
