These five guys have seen hell since past 2 months. They were released from Enugu correctional facility on Tuesday.

Wearing masquerade costumes during one of their cultural outings at Obukpa Nsukka, five of them abused someone, acccording to a popular Enugu influencer Chijinkem Ugwuanyi. InfoWars couldn’t independently verify if their victim was a man or woman. But complaint was lodged. The masquerades were arrested, were detained in police custody, and were finally dumped in the prison.

The development has since put Obukpa people in great distress, with the leaders of the community making efforts to secure their masquerades’ release.

Through the help of a vibrant lawyer, Barr Chinedu Agbowo, they’ve finally got their freedom as human beings, having probably forgotten their masquerades costumes in custody.

Obukpa, a community in Nsukka local government area in Enugu, has continued to retain the culture of their forefathers. Their Akatakpa, Ogbagu and Otu Nju are among the most dreaded masquerades in Enugu State who are capable of performing magic.

The arrest of the five masquerades, however, shocked the traditional community and its obvious they’ve learnt from the kind of mistakes which led to the unfortunate detention of their revere ‘spirits‘.
