Nollywood actress and media personality Nancy Isime is causing stirs once again with her rather unconventional but practical teachings. In her recent post, she shared her thoughts on the boundaries of romance and finance in any relationship.
According to the actress, she said she would never let her man know how much she is earning or how much she is worth or has in her bank accounts.
Isime added that she expected her partner to treat her the same way.
“I would never discuss how much I have in my account or earn with my man, for what? He shouldn’t discuss his either with me,” Nancy Isime said.
Some netizens reacted, supporting her opinion with number of reasons. But there are others who believed it was a privacy taken too far.
However, it was funny seeing how reactions sharply counter one another. One person said the actress’ decision was a good one as men tended to feel insecure if their women earned more than them. Another social media user fired back, stating that the biggest mistake a man could make was to show his account balance to a woman.
