The contractor handling the Aninri Food Market in Nenwe, Aninri LGA and the Amuka Okpatu Hall project in Udi LGA, on Friday 28th August 2026, visited both sites to engage with community stakeholders.
The two projects were among the numerous projects attracted by the senator representing the good people of Enugu West in the Senate, Distinguished Senator Osita Ngwu, in his commitment to improve the life of his constituents.
During the visit, the contractor apologized to the good people of Aninri LGA for the delay and for abandoning the sites. He explained that the delay was due to lack of payments, which affected the works.
He further assured the community of his commitment to the timely completion of both projects. He stated that with improved funding from the federal government, work will resume fully and be delivered to standard.
He expressed appreciation for the patience and understanding of the people of Nenwe and Okpatu, and reaffirmed his obligation to deliver quality infrastructure that will serve the community.
