“Peter Obi is a fool, trapped in NDC,” Kenneth Okonkwo fires
Outspoken chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is after Mr Peter Obi.
During an interview with Arise TV, Kenneth Okonkwo said that Obi is trapped in NDC because the party belonged to President Bola Tinubu. Peter Obi is the presidential flag-bearer of NDC in the 2027 elections.
“NDC is Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress, APC, political party. It’s now that Peter Obi is even more trapped”, the veteran actor-turned-politician alleged.
According to him NDC had not been existing until Tinubu met Seriake Dickson. So, it was operating as an APC extension.
After the two leaders met, NDC was registered. Then, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said NDC wasn’t qualified to be registered. But a higher power came and INEC bowed and registered NDC.
Essentially, NDC was registered to lure Peter Obi. And Kenneth Okonkwo said he swallowed the bait hook and sinker.
“A party that has not been existing. Meaning INEC was compelled to register them. Peter Obi said they were invited by NDC. Meaning NDC was registered to lure him, and then he ran with it. Now he has entered their trap,” he said.
