NDC STRUCTURES REMAIN INTACT – PDP’S COLLAPSE CLAIM IS FALSE, DESPERATE AND MISLEADING
Our attention has been drawn to a false and mischievous claim circulating from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that NDC structures across the 260 wards in Enugu State have collapsed to the PDP in support of Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji.
This claim is completely untrue, baseless, and a clear attempt at blackmail and propaganda.
The structures of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Enugu State remain solid, active, and fully committed to the presidential candidacy of Mr. Peter Obi and the governorship candidacy of Sir Christian Chinyeaka Ohaa. No such mass defection or collapse has taken, or will ever take, place.
It is becoming increasingly clear that both the APC and the PDP are unsettled by the growing grassroots acceptance of the NDC, Mr. Peter Obi, Sir Christian Chinyeaka Ohaa, and other NDC candidates among the people of Enugu State. Rather than face the reality that Ndi Enugu are yearning for a credible alternative which they have found in NDC candidates, these parties have resorted to attacks, blackmail, and fabricated stories aimed at boosting their waning support among Ndi Enugu.
We urge both the APC and the PDP to learn to play politics of principles, ideas, and issue-based campaigns instead of relying on falsehoods and intimidation. The people of Enugu are watching, and they can no longer be deceived by propaganda.
Mr. Peter Obi, Sir Christian Chinyeaka Ohaa, and the entire NDC family of competent candidates in Enugu State remain focused, united, and determined. We will not be distracted by cheap blackmail. We will continue to engage the people with competence, integrity, and a genuine desire to serve.
NDC is here to stay.
Ndi Enugu have already made up their minds. The 2027 election is about the competence of the candidates, not political parties.
