Arsenal has acknowledged that Tommy Setford has become a valued member of their goalkeeping unit since two years he stayed with them. And so he shared in the Gunners’ glory as they took the Champions League title last season.
Tommy Setford, 20, joined Arsenal from Ajax’s renowned academy in July 2024. Three months later, he made his debut against Preston North End in the Carabao Cup, making a lot of savings in the match that saw the Gunners took 3-0 victory.
He made his FA Cup debut in February this year, substituting Kepa Arrizabalaga in a 4-0 win against Wigan Athletic.
Aside making Arsenal proud at senior games, the Netherlands-born goalkeeper has also made number of regular PL2 and UEFA Youth League appearances since last two seasons.
