Ex-Minister Adelabu’s sister regains freedom from kidnappers den

Olaide John-Paul, the younger sister of Bayo Adelabu, former minister of power, has been “rescued, unhurt” from the kidnappers’ den, police said.
Confirming the development, Olayinka Olushola, Oyo police spokesperson, said she alongside her 12-year-old twins were rescued yesterday.
InfoWars reported that the three were abducted in Ibadan around 7.30am on Wednesday.
Olaide John-Paul is a ‘big’ woman. At 43, she has already worked at Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and First Bank Pension Custodian before retiring voluntarily. She has been residing in Ibadan, preparing to relocate with her sons to live with her husband in United States of America.
There is no details yet on how police were able to “rescue” the victims “unhurt” although they promised to provide such details “later”.
Meanwhile, the dozens of schoolchildren alongside teachers who were kidnapped in Oyo State are still in captivity 42 days after. The abduction has since sparked wider reactions, with the police making promises and politicians trading blames.
