Veteran Nollywood actress and evangelist Tonto Dike gets tongues wagging as netizens seem taken aback at her choice of words on controversial transgender Bobrisky.
Her lengthy post on Instagram story was particularly conspicuous for her addressing Bobrisky as a man for the social media personality is widely addressed as woman. Dike also praised him, describing him as the most dependable friends she has met.
“If you have ever experienced the kind of rare, unyielding friendship this man offers, then I will excuse your misunderstandings”, the actress said, explaining that Bobrisky was an important person in her life.
Reflecting on their friendship, Tonto Dike mentioned a particular incident where Bobrisky risked everything to come to her aid in time of trouble.
“When the time came and I told Bob, “it’s time for war,” there was no hesitation. He didn’t ask where the battlefield was, who the adversary was, or what the risk entails. His only response was direct and resolute: “How far are we going to fight.
“That level of instant, unquestioning solidarity is not just rare. It’s irreplaceable,” Tonto Dike continued.

She ended it all with a check of ₦2 million to Bobrisky, jokingly said it was “only for his breakfast”.
Bobrisky acknowledged her curtly. He posted “Thank you Mama” on the comment section.
