Peter Mbah sends ESUT delegation to study AI, robotics in Qatar

Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah has really “broad, practical strategies” to boost benefits of education in the state, Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku, a die-hard fan of the governor told InfoWars.

Right now a high-level delegation from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) is in Doha, Qatar. They on a state-sponsored academic visit to gain practical knowledge on Artificial Intelligence (AI) innovation, applied learning and implementation models.

The visit is part of the broader plan towards establishing Centre for Artificial Intelligence Studies, Research and Innovation at ESUT.

Writing from Qatar, ESUT Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Aloysius-Michael Okolie, said the initiative is highlighted the need for upgrading.

“We need to study successful models and engage with informed perspectives to harmonise our programmes with global standards in Robotics, Cybersecurity, Data Science, and Software Engineering,” Prof Okolie said.

Qatar, widely noted for its first-class educational institutions, is also a home for experiential and applied learning.

Since assuming office in 2023, Governor Peter Mbah has scaled up the branch of learning in the coal city state. He has completed over 267 Smart Green Schools across different political wards across the state; and given serious lifts to so many existing place of learning, including Government Technical College (GTC) which is now referred as “Enugu Wonderland”.
