The real estate developer made a surprisingly win during the Labour Party tsunami in 2023 elections when he defeated PDP’a Offor Chukwuegbo to win House of Representatives ticket of Enugu North/South federal constituency. However, he has joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) alongside Governor Peter Mbah.
