The Senior Pastor of Family Worship Centre, Abuja is a fearless woman. Once again Pastor Sarah Omakwu has spoken out against bad leadership in Nigeria, saying there was nothing to celebrate as the country turned 66.

Accusing the politicians for poor thinking, Omakwu insisted that Nigeria is worse today than it were about some 40 years ago. At 66 the country couldn’t boast of any meaningful achievements for its age.

She cited an example using recently concluded United Nations General Assembly held in United States. As far as the clergy woman is concerned, even small nations made far impressive showings before the world than Nigeria’s representative.

Pastor Omakwu mentioned the President of Kenya. She praised the Prime Minister of Barbados, too. The two leaders hammered on the issues which affect the continent in general, and their respective countries in particular.

Kenya’s William Ruto pressed the world on the need for Africans to share equal rights at the world stage, and Barbados’ Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley told fellow leaders that there could never be real unity in the world as long as some wealthier nations continue to claim superiority over the rest.

“There’s nothing to celebrate. At 66, what are we celebrating? Imagine this government going to the UN to beg for money. It was so shameful, and it pained me to my bones,” Omakwu said.

Her words have won accolades among, and the video clip has been trending on social media.

Pastor Sarah Omakwu, who doubles as the President of Family Ministries International, has spoken to power before. In May this year, she addressed FCT Minister Nyesom Wike over the proposed Jabi Lake recreation area.
