A 24-year-old man was sentenced to one year in prison. Before he was matched into the custodian facility, Court’s first term for his offences was administered. He was lashed hard with several strokes of cane.
The incident happened in Singapore, and on December 12, 2025.
According to Shin Min Daily News, the young man was found guilty of r@pe on October 1 in Singapore. The outlet also said that court forbade revealing the identities of both the victims and the offender.
Under Section 375 of the Singapore Penal Code, a male who is convicted of r@pe faces what is legally termed “judicial canning”, in addition to other punishment depending on whether or not there is an injury sustained.
Shin Min reports that the man and his victims were friends. They usually spent time together, mostly drinking alcohol. Obviously, they were dating, so it was that case of forced s£x. According to the story, the girl had been with her boyfriend all day on December 12, as both played and shared alcohol as usual.
She was drunk and slept off. The man removed her clothes. As the girl woke up in the night she found her boyfriend’s hand in her breasts, and her panties slid down.
She promptly sued him for having her without her consent, and court paid her instant attention.
In the ruling the judge slammed the young man with 12 months imprisonment, while equally ordering the he be flogged according the the law.
