Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku just gets yet another feather on his cap.
HRH Igwe Daniel Njoku, the traditional ruler of Ezinesi autonomous community, conferred Nwanjoku with “Akajiofo Aninri” title, said the young council chairman has performed beyond expectations in less than two years in office.

According to the circular from the chairman’s Media Office, Nwanjoku’s wife Mrs Chidera Dorathy Nwanjoku, also received “Ugegbe Aninri” title from the traditional ruler.
The titles conferment were done, earlier today, during Igwe Njoku’s 1st Ofala festival. The revered king was also using the colourful event to mark the 22nd anniversary of his coronation. He is the current chairman of Aninri Traditional Rulers Council. And he is the second king to hold Ofala festival in Oduma after the ultimate icon of tradition, late HRM Igwe Onyioha Nwanjoku.
The celebration drew dignitaries from across the local government areas, as several other noble sons were equally honoured with different titles.
Some of the noble individuals who graced the occasion included Hon Magnus Ede, Member of Enugu State House of Assembly; Hon Okwu Chinedu Otaka, former member of Enugu State House of Assembly; Chief Okezie Nwanjoku, former commissioner for youths and sports.
Others are Chief Amos Oshi, Chief Okey Njokuoti, High Chief Stephen Chukwuezeora, Barr Ben Nwanjoku.
The Vice Chairman of Enugu State Traditional Rulers Council HRH Igwe Godwin Madu of Mbaogu kingdom, HRH Igwe Cyprian Nevobasi (Ezeani 111/Omere Enyi 1/Ogirishi Igbo ) of Agunese Mmaku also attended the ceremony.
HRH Igwe Emma Ugwu- Ezeokwe I of Ibeagwa Nike chairman Enugu East Traditional Rulers; HRH Igwe Agaba Idu of Nsukka, Igwe Okoro; Igwe Eric Nwafor were present also.

Aninri traditional rulers also came in their numbers: HRH Igwe C U Ijeh, HRH Igwe Jerome Emeka Iyiagu, HRH Igwe Donatus Iloanaoke Chukwu, HRH Igwe B.N Eze (Eze Agbor VI), HRH Igwe Edwin Ifesinachi Onuoha, HRH Igwe D.O Ohabuike, HRH Igwe Patrick A.O Oshiekwe, HRH Igwe Cletus Udechukwu.
