The African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for Aninri/Awgu/Oji River federal constituency, Hon. Chinedu Onyeagba (a.k.a Omex Global) has leaked new series of chats, all of them really implicating for Hon. Anayo Onwuegbu who is one of his rivals in the coming polls.

He pointedly exonerated the former Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ike Ekweremadu whom Hon. Anayo Onwuegbu’s campaign has been accusing of allegedly “siphoning” the fund meant for Ivo River Dam Project. According to Omex, there is nothing which concerned the former lawmaker “as far as I know”.

“A leader should be able to owe responsibilities of his actions,” Omex said, added that “If you ‘f*ck up bear the cost and not to shift blames on another innocent man. Greater Awgu is above that kind of a thing. By now blame game should belong to the relics of the past.”

According to the ADC candidate, the constituents could not be distracted from the bone of contention which, he maintained, includes the right to demand accountability from representation. Wondering why Hon. Onwuegbu has refused to address the public concern over the abandoned Ivo Dam, Omex Global accused the lawmaker of “having a skeleton in his cupboard”.

“Why is he not talking about it (Ivo River Dam Project? You see that people are concerned, that people are dying. And they’re asking questions. Why wouldn’t Omeihukwu be humble enough to answer to his constituents’ yearnings for clarity? If you’re telling us that Federal Government is denying fund, then what are you there in the National Assembly to do?” Hon Chinedu Onyeagba said.

Calling Anayo Onwuegbu the “weakest baby of the Green Chamber”, Omex maintained that he had wanted to bribe him with ₦1 billion to step down.

“Omeihukwu’s point man named Benson Ifeanyi, with the PG of their community named Emperor, had once invited me to a meeting. I attended the meeting.

“The two of them told me that Omeihukwu (Anayo Onwuegbu) sent them to me, to beg me to step down for him. They told me that I should step down so that Omeihukwu could go for House of Representatives, after that he would go for governorship (in 2031).

“When he becomes governor Omeihukwu would make me SSG. They also said that Omeihukwu told them to offer me ₦200 million. I replied that it was ridiculous to offer me ₦200 million, that I have already spent over ₦800 million so far.

“They said they’d tell Omeihukwu what I said. Then, Benson Ifeanyi requested that it should no longer be going back and forth from Omeihukwu to me. He said he would instead tell Omeihukwu what I said. Benson said that if Omeihukwu agreed to pay me ₦1 billion and agreed to fix a meeting, then he would inform me. So we agreed”, Omex Global said.

Sharing screenshot of his chat with Chief Benson Ifeanyi, Omex said that Chief Benson Ifeanyi later told him that Anayo Onwuegbu had agreed to pay ₦1 billion for his ADC rival to step down for him.

“He send me this message, telling me that Omeihukwu has agreed to pay me the ₦1 billion, that we should schedule the meeting this Saturday. I told him that I wasn’t around, that I’ve left for Abuja. Meanwhile, I was around. So he began to beg me for logistics on how he could come to Abuja, but I wasn’t interested”, the ADC candidate said.

However, Anayo Onwuegbu has deployed number of little bloggers operating on free Content Management System (CMS) to sell lies about the attempt to pay ₦1 billion bribe to the ADC firebrand candidate. While the campaigns rage, the Greater Awgu electorate appear amused, and watch as Onwuegbu continue to run away from given even a single direct answer to the many questions about his service so far.

Hon. Onwuegbu has no more business going back to National Assembly haven failed Wolfy in the area of quality representation.
As the contractor handling the Ivo Dam project he should have raised the issue repeatedly on the floor of the House for urgent attention but for the fack that he knew what he did, hence he remain silent.
